I've spent most of my life (the other bit i was learning to walk) listening to true rock music. I bought a digital radio some years ago for the express use of listening to Planet Rock. I have no idea what other stations are on the radio because there is no reason for me to tune in to them when I have found exactly what I am looking for. TV doesn't get a look in. I know money makes the world go round (apparently) But why remove something that is so obviously giving so many thousands of people 200 percent pleasure every time they listen. I'm not a musician or even able to pick up an instrument without wondering which way round to hold it or how the true artists make it sing but Rock Music is the single most important influence on my life. CD's are ok but the feel of the band and music is portrayed like nothing else on Planet Rock. We can't lose this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of Planet Rock's listeners contacted us here at Yell, the home of the Yellow Pages, to thank us for advertising on the station. We're happy to advertise on a station where the listeners really listen - and we hope you save the station or find an alternative buyer. Good luck.

Planet Rock is the only station that I know of that plays good classic and some modern rock. It's also the only place where I can hear new musicians like Joe Bonamassa. If planet rock closes what am I going to listen to then???
